Calculate the frequency of EMR that has a wavelength of 1.315 micrometers?
Question by greg p: Calculate the frequency of EMR that has a wavelength of 1.315 micrometers?
Im pretty sure that I take Frequency=speed of light/wavelength
So I took:
(3.00x10e8 meters/second) (1 micrometer)
————————————— x —————————–
(1.315 micrometers) (1.0x10e-6 meters)
= 2.281e14 s-1
Does that look right?
