Hospital Unit Clerk or Medical Records, Billing, Nursing>, etc. I am the strong ..?maintenance of medical records, hospital & clinic patients into think. i would also "electronic health records" of course, the theory teaches & requires hands-on application into work in today's medical practice. i was given the "central sterile technician course, but it seems that the surgical technicians into keep them in the first place arbeitsplätze.nach completion of the above, i would then follow either the" medical transcriptionist "or the" medical coding certificate ". both are online courses through the school & require an internship. i felt in this area the best place of my previous experience would be based. although i have never worked in a doctor's office, i was project manager for fedex kinkos for over three years. i have strong "business / office skills & am a very detail oriented, organized individual. it is also a" certified cna "course & a home caregiver program", & i'd take both. i was thinking of pursuing the practical nurse program next fall, because i would have only 9 classes. however, i do never know if i can handle the collection of blood or administering iv's, if necessary. for some reason the idea has always bothered me. but i know i could earn more as an lpn, & perhaps this fear of "others would jump-off" vorübergehen.was would your advice be? seeking a position that the demand is, & will pay at least 30k. should i use the hospital unit clerk or medical records clerk course, & then take medical coding or medical transcription. or should i continue into examine the lpn route. frankly, i would be happiest in an office environment doing spiritual aufgaben.oder maybe i should think about the medical assistant program instead of the medical coding certificate. what would look better, into mention a potential employer & the earnings potential of the same? They are essentially “Office work.” Everything associated with care or “hands on” clinical medical & technical staff.

If you’re content working in an office environment doing clerical tasks such as filing, faxing documents, reception (answering phones and/or making appointments) or such perhaps the medical records (‘health information’) clerk course would suit you the best (though no program can guarantee a job afterwards
Being that you’d mentioned not necessarily feeling comfortable collecting blood and such, I would forgo the LPN program. The hospital unit clerk’s job may be pretty stressful having to deal with all levels of medical personnel and having to be adept at multi-tasking as my friend’s sister took a similar course.
As far as medical coding, one usually needs a couple of years experience doing coding tasks, certification(s) within the field and preferably completion of an accredited course to possibly get a job. Just fyi that with medical billing that it, unfortunately, seems as though a lot of companies are outsourcing to Asia/India making jobs much more scarce. With central sterile tech or even surgical tech, one will most likely be dealing with blood and other bodily fluids.
With medical transcription, please beware of those ‘work at home’ offers as just about all are scams especially if asking for money upfront or for personal info which may put one at risk for identity theft: http://www.ftc.gov and can click “identity theft” or such.
I would just go with what you’re comfortable with.
Please forgo those private $$ tech schools and instead look into the county vo-tech school or community college as long as it’s accredited within the industry.

Edit: Unfortunately, there aren’t supposed to be too many jobs for the medical assistant due to the field being saturated with graduates from the numerous training programs.
